ATHENS, GA. — A lot of storylines following Georgia’s annual G-Day scrimmage were about the offense since it was a very pass-heavy contest. Regardless, there were some about the Bulldogs’ defense, which lost a lot of its talent from last season to the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft.

Despite losing so much production from 2021’s generational defense, Georgia returns 27 lettermen on that side of the ball. That’s not even counting the 15 talented defensive prospects that signed as a part of Georgia’s No. 3-ranked 2022 recruiting class.
