Recruiting: Bulldogs get a commit from 2025 running back
Is new Georgia running back commit Jabree Wallace-Coleman the next D’Andre Swift? Only time will tell, however, the class of 2025 running back draws a lot of comparisons.
The Bulldogs got a surprise commitment on Monday night from Wallace-Coleman, who is a Philadelphia native, like Swift. He becomes Georgia’s first pledge in its 2025 recruiting class.
Georgia running backs coach Dell McGee offered Wallace-Coleman back in January. He visited UGA’s campus last month and quickly decided that he wanted to become a Bulldog. Wallace-Coleman chose the Bulldogs over Michigan, Oregon, and Maryland, among others.
The 6-foot, 200-pound running back plays football at the Imhotep Institute Charter School. He helped lead the Panthers to an 11-2 record and state title game appearance as a freshman. Wallace-Coleman racked up 380 yards on 37 attempts with five scores in 2021.
