ATHENS — Georgia basketball’s Justin Hill made arguably two of the biggest plays of his young Bulldog career on Tuesday in crunch time during an SEC battle with LSU.

Tiger’s forward KJ Williams hit a clutch layup with 11 seconds remaining to put LSU up 63-62, but Hill responded for the Bulldogs on the next trip down the floor with a huge play.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound point guard drove the lane and hit the game-winning bucket with seven seconds left, although his stellar end-of-the-game theatrics weren’t done yet.

The Houston, Tx., native knew it was going to be him that was going to have to make a play.

“Coach told us to get it out quick if they scored, so that’s what we did. I went and I saw the opening, so I took it,” Hill said. “If two come up to me, somebody’s open and to kick it out, but nobody came. (LSU’s) big, he did a good job of walling up. I just had to make it."
