Georgia's defense hopes to avoid 'embarrassment' against Ohio State in Peach Bowl

ATLANTA — Georgia’s defense is hoping for a better result against Ohio State on Saturday after LSU scored 30 points and totaled more than 500 yards of offense in its last outing.
It was easily by far the Bulldogs’ worst defensive performance of the 2022 season. The Tigers torched their secondary and passed for 502 yards, with a majority of them coming in the second half. Georgia is determined to correct the mistakes moving forward.
“We know we had a bad day that game,” Bulldogs’ inside linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson said on Tuesday. “That was an embarrassment for us. We just went back to work.”
