Georgia lands three-star RB Andrew Paul
Georgia has landed three-star running back Andrew Paul, who committed and signed on Tuesday.
He joins five-star signee Branson Robinson as the only two scholarship tailbacks the Bulldogs signed in the 2022 recruiting cycle.
Paul chose UGA over a host of Power Five schools, including Clemson, Oregon, Michigan and Auburn.
He garnered a lot of attention from the Tigers late in his recruitment; however, decided to choose Georgia in the end. What also probably factored into his decision is that long-tome former Bulldog commitment Jordan James flipped and signed with Oregon.
Highlights:

Paul is a native of Dallas, Tx. and attended Parish Episcopal School. He totaled 2,612 yards on 271 rushing attempts ( 9.64 yards per carry) with 41 touchdowns during his senior campaign for the Panthers. Paul also hauled in 14 receptions for 208 yards and three scores last season.
The 5-foot-11, 220-pound running back has a burst of agility and can pick up yards after contact. On film, Paul has proven that he’s a force to be reckoned with in-between the tackles, but can also bounce outside them as well. He can easily cut when needed and find open space downfield. Paul is the complete package as a running back.
Paul is rated as the nation’s No. 534 overall prospect, No. 42 running back and No. 75 player in Texas, per the 247Sports Composite.
He took his official visit this past weekend, which seemed to have sealed the deal as he met with both Georgia head coach Kirby Smart and running backs coach Dell McGee.
He documented some of his visit, which is shown below.
