Georgia Baseball opens Georgia Tech series Friday In Atlanta

ATHENS, GA. — The No. 14 Georgia Bulldogs will battle No. 19 Georgia Tech in a three-game series starting Friday in Atlanta. The first pitch is set for 6 p.m, and the game will be available on the Georgia Bulldog Sports Network and streamed on ACC Network Extra.
Game two of the series will be Saturday at Foley Field in Athens at 2 p.m. on SEC Network+.
Game three will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Lawrenceville at Coolray Field. Tech is the home team Sunday, and the game will be streamed on ACC Network Extra. Sunday’s game will serve as the 19th annual Spring Classic
For Kids baseball game to benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CH0A). Proceeds from the ticket sales at Coolray go toward funding critical patient and family initiatives in the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of CHOA.
At 8-0, the No. 14 Georgia Bulldogs have matched their best start since the 2012 club went 8-0. The 2009 squad reached 14-0 for the finest start. The Bulldogs are batting .313 with nine home runs and rank 14th nationally in ERA (1.90). Georgia has a .980 Fielding Percentage. Tech is batting .342 with 19 home runs, a 3.94 ERA and a .971 FLDG%.
In records dating back to 1898, Georgia leads the all-time series 215-166-2. Tech won both campus meetings last year (7-5 in Athens, 7-6 in 14 innings in Atlanta) with no neutral site game due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Bulldogs swept the series in 2020. In the Spring Baseball Classic, Georgia holds a 12-6 edge including 1-0 at Coolray Field.

Baseball Home Game Tickets/Parking
Saturday’s Georgia Tech game at Foley Field is sold out. PURCHASE great seats from other fans through our official secondary ticketing partner StubHub.
Season Tickets for the 2022 season tickets are sold out, however, there are three new flexible ticket packages available for 5-, 10- and 15-games. They can include any game on the home schedule. The prices for these packages are $40 for five games, $70 for ten games and $90 for 15 games.
Single-game tickets for most non-conference games along with Thursday and Sunday SEC games are options too. Single-game tickets are $10 while group tickets (10+ tickets) are $5 each. Currently, single-game sales and group tickets are not available for SEC games on Friday or Saturday or for the Clemson or Georgia Tech games. Alcohol Sales Available At Foley Field
Following the successful launch of alcohol sales at Stegeman Coliseum for both men’s and women’s basketball games, Georgia Athletics has announced it will carry over its pilot program to both baseball and softball this year. In compliance with the SEC policy on alcohol at athletic events, the UGAAA will sell a variety of domestic, import, craft and premium beer at designated concession stands inside Foley Field. Ticket/Parking Information For Sunday’s Game at Coolray Field
All tickets to the 2022 Spring Classic for Kids will be sent digitally. All tickets to this game are general admission. Individual tickets can be purchased at the Coolray Field box office or on Ticketmaster for $20. Children under the age of two do not need a ticket to the game but must sit in the lap of a ticketed attendee. General admission parking is $10.
