Recruiting: UGA lands 4-star WR Tyler Williams
Talented wide receiver Tyler Williams knew he was going to be a Georgia Bulldog two months ago.
The four-star and class of 2023 prospect recently admitted that to Andrew Ivins of 247Sports.com.
“They really showed me that everything I needed to see from an overall standpoint – education, weight room, on the field, off the field, life after football,” Williams said to 247Sports in an interview when asked about UGA. “That’s where I feel like I can be my best at.”
He took an official visit back to Georgia over the summer in June. Williams and his family visited Athens, speaking with head coach Kirby Smart and offensive coordinator Todd Monken. He also met several players, including a few Bulldog wide receivers.
“Arian [Smith] and Adonai Mitchell are the two guys I hung out with the most,” Williams told 247Sports about his visit. “And then there are some guys that I have been talking to in the NFL, as well. Like Isaiah McKenzie. They have just been letting me know that [Georgia] was the place for them and when they went in they felt that. I feel it too.”
