Georgia has landed its second commitment in less than 24 hours when 2022 offensive guard Griffin Scroggs from Grayson High School announced his plans on Tuesday night.
Scroggs, who de-committed from rival Georgia Tech a month ago, was in Athens over the weekend, which is was ultimately drove him to become a Bulldog. Per his social media, Scroggs spent time with offensive line coach Matt Luke, who must have sold him on the program.
Scroggs previously played at Buford High School before transferring to Grayson during his sophomore year. The 6-foot-4, 315-pound interior lineman played a mixture of center and right guard for the Rams last season. However, he will more than likely be used on the interior during his senior campaign in 2021. Scroggs only has a few offers from small-time Power 5 programs, although his recruitment has gone under the radar due to COVID-19.
